Around October 13th to 18th 2023, it is AKI(Autumn)-KANRO(Cold dew)- 50th KOU “Chrysanthemums bloom”.
The chrysanthemums growing in my kitchen garden are about to bloom.
It is “MATSUKAZE” variety and is an edible flower. The petals are quickly blanched and eaten with vinegar soy sauce or mayonnaise. Its refreshing taste is like a breeze (KAZE) blowing through pine trees (MATSU).
From the end of this month, KIKU Festivals will be held in various locations around the HOKUSHIN area, including ZENKOJI Temple and SUZAKA City.
Dumpling are better than flowers for me. Ha-ha-ha!
