March 5th-March 9th, 2024 is Spring-KEICHITSU (Insects awaken)-6th KOU “Hibernating insects surface”

I was hoping that it would get warmer in March, but it’s still so cold that it feels like we’re back in winter. In this cold weather, are there any insects that have woken up from hibernation like the 6th KOU tells?

On March 3rd, I found clumps of frog eggs (probably NIHON-AKAGAERU (Japanese brown frog)) at the same place as last year. They were transparent and jiggling, so it didn’t seem that much time has passed since they were spawned. When did the parent frogs wake up from hibernation and lay eggs?

The temperature on March 1st was a maximum of 9.1℃/minimum 0.23℃, on the 2nd it was 2.6℃/-3.6℃, and in the early morning of the 3rd it was -5℃. It is said that they often spawn after it rains. March 1st was a day of sleet and rain, so it might be THAT DAY! After spawning, they hibernate again until it gets warmer:―Z
