April 30th-May 4th, 2024 is Spring-KOKUU -18th KOU “Peonies bloom”.
It’s cloudy and humid this morning. The temperature has risen to 29℃ over the past few days, and hoping the blessing of rain called “KOKUU (Grain rains).”
I went to KOSENJI Temple (WAKAHO, NAGANO City), which is popularly known as the “Peony Temple.” It seems that the blooming of flowers is delayed overall compared to last year.
Still, cabbage butterflies and black swallowtail butterflies were actively flying around the flowers, and I could hear the sounds of bush warblers coming from the mountain opposite.
